![]() She loves the way they feel on her feet and I love how versatile they are with every outfit. We typically keep one pair in the car, one pair in her room, and one pair in the backyard so she always has an option to wear them wherever she goes. Plus, my daughter prefers her Freshly Picked moccasins over any other shoe she owns. And when I do have to put them on her, they are so quick and easy – just a way a mom prefers it when she’s running on little sleep and even less steam and is in a hurry to get somewhere. And this comes in so handy when I am holding or feeding her little brother. And after trying various Velcro shoes and sandals, I have found that the only shoes she can put on by herself is her Freshly Picked moccasins. One of these things is putting on her own shoes. So let’s be honest, as a second time mom it makes life a little easier when my toddler can do some things on her own. Part of life is trial and error while I simultaniously educate them and show them the way. If I do everything for them, they won’t learn certain skills on their own. I believe children need some independence and autonomy. However, I am also a big believer in moderation and balance. ![]() I love being needed by them and I love being their go to person. As a mom, I love doing everything I can for my children.
